CHEIF OF STAFF
Jacob Rudy
Leadership Statement:
I believe leadership is about lifting others up, using our voices to amplify the voices of our peers, and creating opportunities for others to succeed. We have a limited amount of time to make a difference, and I believe we should use that time to serve others, stand for what is right, and leave things better than we found them.
About:
My name is Jacob Rudy, and I am a junior at the University of Kentucky with the privilege of serving as the Chief of Staff for the Student Government Association this year. I first got involved in SGA as the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Senator last year. I wanted an opportunity to help contribute to the overall success and projects of SGA, and to support an awesome team in the Executive Branch, which lead me to serve as the Chief of Staff.
Outside of SGA, I love to spend time outdoors, fishing, and hiking. I grew up on my family's grain farm, so I always love to be surrounded by agriculture. I am very excited to work alongside Nick and Carter this year to serve the student body, support students across campus, and accomplish some awesome things for the UK community. Go cats!
