WilDCats at the Capitol is the University of Kentucky's internship program that offers any UK student the opportunity to intern, earn course credit and gain experience at the highest levels of government while living in the nation's capital.

VIP Experiences
UK students get the chance to work with Members of Congress, Executive Branch agencies, private sector companies, and non-profit/non-governmental organizations across Washington, DC.
Rolling Admissions
Admissions decisions for the program are made on a rolling basis until the program is full or the program application deadline is reached.
Exciting Opportunities
Internships provide a dynamic opportunity to gain real-world experience and apply classroom learning in a fast-paced, professional environment. Students spend 40 hours per week interning in a selected office or agency. Internship responsibilities vary depending on the needs and opportunities available in individual positions.
