The Executive Team has a wide variety of functions. From ensuring SGA operates sustainably and advocates for sustainability on campus, to creating amazing events that bring awareness to mental health, the Executive Team is constantly at work to ensure student voices are heard and tangible things come of our advocacy.
Student Body President

Elected by the student body, the Student Body President represents the student body in all matters and serve as a voting member of the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees.

Elected by the student body to serve as the President of the Senate and Chair of the Senate Executive Council and assist the President in executing policy and University obligations.

Appointed by the President and Vice President to oversee the daily operations of the executive cabinet and other duties as prescribed in the UKSGA Governing Codes.

Deputy Chief of Staff
McKenna Dowell
The Deputy Chief of Staff delegates responsibilities and priorities to directors and branches of Student Government. Oversees Executive Branch coordinator involvement program in the fall and facilitates the transition process in the spring.

The Director of Campus Services ensures that students at the University of Kentucky have access to services and basic needs as there are disparities in resource access on UK’s campus that impact the daily lives of students.

The Assistant Director of Campus Services & Access works with the Director of Campus Services & Access to plan, implement, and execute programs and initiatives on campus and ensures that students at UK have access to basic needs resources.
Elections Commissioner

The Elections Commissioner is in charge of facilitating the elections process. They work with the SGA advisor as well as the supreme court to make sure SGA elections are as equitable as possible.

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for managing the Student Government website. This includes keeping the SGA website interactive and transparent for students to access information related to the work conducted by SGA.
Attorney General
Kamryn Stewart
The attorney general is the official custodian of the UKSGA Governing Codes and official records and ensures they are made available as outlined in the Legislative Codes. Represents UKSGA in Supreme Court cases and helps interpret legislation.

The Director of Government Relations seeks to expand the student voice beyond the university setting, affect policy changes in the interest of University of Kentucky students, and promote general civic engagement among the student body.

Senate Chair

The Senate Chair is a senator elected by a simple majority of Senators, the Senate Chair serves as the presiding officer of the Senate and handles the internal operations of the Senate. The Senate Chair certifies the passage of bills by the senate.

The Director of LDP is responsible for planning and executing programming and activities for the Leadership Development Program while ensuring that the incoming LDP class has the resources and guidance to develop leadership skills.
